Self Inflicted Portrait III

I mentioned this earlier in a previous self portrait page. This is my second self portrait from my workshop with Alex Grey. In this portrait there is more attention to detail and more of a likeness to an actual human being than in the previous years' portrait.

Here I am portraying life and death and the inbetween. I've never been much for making my self portraits actuallly look like me and this one is no exception. In my opinion you can't really tell if I'm male or female. Was that intentional?
