An experimental portrait of Shannon. She seems to be thinking, looking off in the distance. A daydream, yet at night. A dream, yet awake. I really felt a warm feeling from this piece as I was painting it. Reds and oranges came to the brush so I painted. I'm not usually one to argue with inspiration and the channeling of creativity.
