This illustration was inspired by a drive from Chicago to New York. A long drive with not too much to look at. After a while your imagination takes over. Hopefully you aren't driving when this happens. At least not if you see the kind of things I see.
I like the idea of the landscape and sky as soft objects. Looking more organic, soft, like clay. Reach up and start making your own shapes with it with your hands. Put it on the paper.
